This is a follow on from this thread

It was suggested that I took measurements from a movement before and after a clean. Lacking a new movement I chose a movement that I had already worked on. This is marked as a "Pinnacle". I've not been able to find anything on this movement - tips welcome.

It runs very slow approx -600s/d

Stripped it, cleaned and oiled with the moebius 8000 ( I know I need a range, but this is all the budget would go to at the moment).

There is some noise/jitter on these traces - that's not all down to the watch. My setup has low gain so there is a bit of noise on the signal.

A definite improvement but still horrendously slow.

I do have a swiss 17 jewelled movement that is within 3 sec/day. As soon as I get time I'll try my hand on that and see how it affects things.

Check if the hairspring is between the indexing pins. If it is, then I’d perhaps try removing two opposite screws at the balance arms.
