Felsa 4009 Hour Wheel, can it be modified?

I'm working on a Felsa 4009. It has a damaged hour wheel (255)

Looking on the Cousins site, they are £20ish for the 1.93mm !!!

There is a 2.43mm one for nearer £6. Anyone know if I can get the longer one and file it down to suit, or are there more differences that means this won't work.

Also, if anyone has the part or an old movement, I'd be interested.

Can have a look. I know i had an old bidynator but think i sold that . 

cousins sure know what is hard to find. think you could file down a 2,43 . Depends on how tall the seat is where the hour hand sits. Maybe it's just the height of the hour hand?
