Cant adjust time

Trying to get my wifes Raymond Weil watch up and running, I have changed the battery and it is now running, The date also changes ok.

However the crown should come out 1 stop for date (which it does) and 2 stops for time change. I cannot get it to come out to the 2nd stop and I dont want to force it.

Thoughts anyone?  My limitations to date are replacing batteries and straps.

Check the position of the caseback, if it's crooked or upside down or anything like that then the groove inside isn't lining up with the stem and that can cause issues like this. Consider having a watch technician maintain this watch in the future.

if i am not mistaken,  only the early high end quartz were adjustable.   the current watches - get a new mvt..  vin

I think he just wants to set the time not adjust the rate of the watch.

Vinn3...  Yes I only want to adjust the time.

Ishima,... you were 100% correct the caseback was slightly out, I refitted and time now adjusted.
