I'm looking for a lower Jewel in its Setting for a Illinois Grade: 525

Serial Number: Illinois Pocket Watch Information: Serial Number 4676531 (Grade 525)

PIA, a have bought a pile of Illinois balance jewels and none of them fit. Purchased of spec thinking the at least one 12s must fit!!

After measuring try getting it here:

I have had wonderful experience with him. I would make sure to measure the bushing (brass part surrounding jewel) I think that is what it is called. Make sure you ask him if he has one with the exact same diameter as the original and you should be able to get one that works perfectly for you.

It is actually the depth of the setting at its first of two steps, outer and inner. In rests on a thin rim I the plate hole. All the jewel setting with jewels I have are too thick. Thanks

If only the setting is too thick and the jewel does have some material in front of it have you tried filing the brass down with a honing stone to get the right thickness?
