Watch Dial printing/restoration

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I am wondering what would be the best tool/equipment for dial printing to make a customization or restoration of watch dials.I have watched "imprintor videos" in youtube, thinking maybe it may also do the job. Any suggestions/links for tutorial?

Hoping it is a low-budget-but-can-do-the-trick method. Thanks in advance!90146ca94da25b21d461184546de3cab.jpg

A member here has an awsome tutorial how to make dials with lume markers.

Myself did some experiments with dial etching with FeCl2 but have no pictures of that. I can post hovewer about watch hands etching from brass. Its the same you can do to dials.

The shape was drawn in paint. Printed to the back of a sticky paper and then transferred to the copper sheet with flat iron. The back and the rest was masked and then etched.
