Cleaning tools and how often to renew onedip?

Do you have to clean staking tools before and after you use them. I think not, but I really want to know about mainspring winders. Do you have to clean the winders after you use them and how do you do it?

Also, I use one dip to clean my Oilers and wonder how often I need to replace my onedip? I clean and oil at least two watches a week, but I constantly use the onedip after I add grease to screw case backs and screw crown tubes for battery changes and I do 20+ a week. Should I use two different glasses? One for hair springs and one for cleaning oilers? Or is there a better way to clean my oilers?

What other tools need to be cleaned after use?

I clean my oilers in a piece of Rodico or pithwood. Mostly Rodico. Maybe you should have a special oiler for putting on the grease on caseback and crown tube instead? Have it next to the grease.

What about mainspring winders? Do you clean those after each use?

Always clean them after use. I found pith was best for oilers.

I wash my hands before use? And use gloves if needed?  Haven't got any mainspring winders yet? But am looking for a nice set? As for cleaning them i would probably do it before i use them. As i would have forgot if i cleaned it before i put it back in the box?
