I am trying to help my father locate someone able to test and repair the electronics in a Junghans ATO Electronic Mantle Clock from about 1960. The clock has a pendulum with magnetic coils, and also as far as we can tell a few simple electronic components including a germanium transistor. The mechanics have been completely overhauled and a new battery fitted, but the clock stops after a short time running. A clock repairer local to me has looked at it but doesn't seem capable of testing the electronic components to decide where the problem lies.

Can anyone please recommend a repairer with experience of this type of clock, ideally within reach of either myself (Farnham Surrey) or my father (Chester)?
