hokavan
Hi guys I've got a like new watch to repair. Its rotor stuck. Hand winding is okay. Because its still has protection pad on the case back so I need some advice identifying the problem before opening. Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Edited January 29, 2016 by hokavan
joelcarvajal
Looking at the balance assembly and the other visible parts, I'd say it's either an eta 2824 or 2836.
steven
A loose screw, maybe? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
ausimax
I'd remove the sticker and see if the rotor screw has unscrewed, if you can get a clear view you may be able to see the problem, next most likely cause is a bridge screw come loose and jamming the rotor. hokavan
It's a Sellita caliber Sw240-1. I've open the case back but found nothing happen with the rotor. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

ausimax
hokavan, Is the rotor locked in that position? In other words won't turn? If it is your only option is to undo the centre screw and remove the rotor to se if something is jamming it. I am not familiar with that movement, so I have posted a shot of another movement just to show you the sort of screws that could jamb the rotor if they worked loose. Any of the screws with red arrows could be the culprit. Hopefully others with more knowledge will come to your aid.

oldhippy
I would also say there is a screw jammed in the movement.
