Hi everyone,

I've been collecting vintage watches for some time now and although I can do some basic repairs I need a reliable watch maker to work on some of my watches. I live in West Lothian and was wondering if the forum might have some suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been collecting for a couple of years now and the collection is coming along quite well....I think.. I enjoy the thrill of finding watches and getting them back in good order. I recently had a 1954 Universal Geneve Polerouter restored by a kind gentleman in France. It has the Bumper movement, not the microtor it's great! Talking of interesting movements, I got my first Spring drive movement in an SBGA229 Grand Seiko. I won't be going near it but I like the technology it is based around 🙂

I did consider it. I've had a couple of watches lost in the post, luckily nothing too expensive, so I'm a bit reluctant. Maybe, I'll have to bite the bullet and do that.
