I had a pin fall out of my bracelet the other day, and since I don't have a lot of experience with these I wanted to ask before I try to find a new one/parts:

Both sides of the clasp piece should look the same, correct? It looks like one side might have broken at some point and someone sanded it down, or it's just seen severe wear.

Thank you. The only issue with those is the pin slips out from under the truncated ear on the clasp, so the enlarged head wouldn't help.

It is strange that it doesn't look broken to me, it looks like someone did that on purpose.

You might have to close up the shaped metal of the clasp ends to hold it properly. Seiko bracelets have never been great, even on GS or Credor. This is just the way I have found that works for me (so far 🤞)
