I have a simple 8 day smiths clock on my bench but noticed the centre arbour has a loose spacer or bushing. Anyone seen this before as it’s a bit worrying having a loose spacer. The clock has been miss used many worn bushings etc.

Yes,  but I will have to find a way to remove the centre arbour for any future jobs. It would have so much easier if a knew how to do this job..
