Eyup all you lovely watch people.  I have a pair of unknown tweezers here if anyone can identify them for me please. The photos show a fork on one side of the tips the other side i think had a pin through them that looks like has broken off. Also a pin in the back end of the tweezers ?

Looks handy for pushing ( friction fitted )  studs out of stud holder , with.

Not sure.  They are very heavy duty so maybe,  but the pin in the handle end is a mystery.

How sturdy are the tips? Could be for swaging in the pins in a lantern pinion.

I made something like that a couple of years ago for pushing out stubborn hairspring studs.

The overall construction of them is pretty chunky. Fitting a replacement pin will be fun it looks like the original one was riveted in.
