Where do you source capstones from? They've all been discontinued from Seitz.

I've confirmed with Bergeon (who I believe own Seitz) that they've stopped manufacturing all sizes of their capstone jewels.  With that said, how would anyone manufacturing a new watch/repairing an old watch source a new capstone?  Are there other manufacturers of jewels?

There are several makers, the big issue is minimum quantity, which is often 50 pieces. I have dealt with Robellaz & Cie SA (Swiss), they don't have a website but were nice folks last time I ordered with them. More recently I have used Crelier (Swiss), very good quality. There is a U.S. maker, funnily named Swiss Jewel Company, but they seem to have odd sizes (but sell by the piece). Another Swiss one is Pierrehor, I haven't dealt with them but know folks who have and been satisfied.

Otherwise it's buying assortments off Ebay (which I have done regularly for many years!).

Thanks for the info.  I tried to go to the Pierrehor website but my antivirus kicked in saying it's a dangerous webpage....

Do you know the website for Robellaz?  I tried Googling it and didn't find one.

I really like the Swiss Jewel Company.  Only a few bucks per jewel is a damn good deal.  But yes I see what you're saying about weird sizes.  I've tried buying assortments, but cataloging the interior hole sizes is a painstaking process.
