I have a W&H Sch small wall clock the problem is the suspension spring

it is bent and twisted i have tried to straighten it and the clock does work but stops after a while,

do you think you could change the spring, and if so what would be the best way to remove the pins given how small they are.

Hi Willow. Once the spring is bent or kinked it’s more than likely knackered and will need replacing. You can get leaders Whicker are a spring with a brass end. For the job. I have some but had then so long forgot where they came from, eBay I think.  Cheers

Yes did see that, but the one at cousins is 6.00mm x 0.15mm thickness mine is 3.00mm x 0.05mm

Well managed to get the pins out,

i was surprised how easy they came out when l found the right punch,
