Eyup watch peeps. Hope you are all well. I thought a thread on diy tools and hacks might be interesting.  Here is a little one i just thought of to get me more into using loupes. Try as i might i can never get a loupe to stay in my eye for longer than a minute or so. Maybe due to the wide eyed shock of seeing some of the carnage that we often see when removing a caseback. I know loupe wires are a way over that problem, but i thought of something much more simple and using something i already have lying around. Elastic bands, one around the loupe and then a few attached to each side, and a short piece of wire to tie at the back or a tie wrap . Two loupes tied together would give you a close up binocular scope to help with depth perception. Seems to work rather well besides looking like a t.wat cant say I'm too bothered about that 🤷‍♂️

There are too many of those floating around east yorkshire 🙄

Glad I grew up in West Yorkshire then 🤣 (I always thought they were a bit odd in the east)

You would look a bit like Cosmo - think I'll stick to the stereo microscope.
