My thanks to Mark Lovick for his Youtube channel and his website and this forum.

As a hobby machinist, wood worker and lover of clocks, sundials, and watches, I have finally gotten serious about going inside of movements.  I hope to share what I am learning and of course ask questions in areas with which I need help.  It is amazing how much information the internet has made accessible by so many that are willing to share their knowledge, trials and tribulations.  A recent need to hang a balance wheel turned up the making of a balance tack, great fun.
