hi everyone one my elgin 554 movement escape wheel upper and lower jewel are broken a went on cousin to purchase one it Said you get 3 in a pack can a use this for my elgin 554 and does this come in upper and lower jewel ?

I looked on the Cousins website but I couldn't find any Elgin 554 escape wheel jewels. Could you point out the ones you mean? Post a link if you can.

Have you considered how you are going to replace the jewels? Rubbed in, settings, or friction fit? Those all require different tools.

The reason you can't find the jewels is because they don't have them kind of? In the absence of a picture of the movement we can find a picture at the link below. It appears to be the jewels are classic Elgin jewels in settings.

If you using a modern jeweling tool then I assume the plan will be to smash out the old jewel. Ream out the setting to fit a modern jewel hopefully it is enough setting left. Then friction in a new jewel. A lot of variables here that can prevent this from happening like how big the original jewel is versus the setting as to whether there's enough space to do that. Then trying to burnish in a modern jewel into the original setting that can be sometimes problematic also.
