This might be common knowledge, but I found individually buying the Moebius synthetics was going to quickly make a single watch service not financially reasonable. The only solution I was reading about was compromising lubricants or running things dry that could probably get away with it so that not so many costly types of lubricants were needed.

I ended up finding a seller on Ebay out of Sweden who is re-packaging Moebius into smaller quantities. Its taking a chance on the expiration date of these lubes, but in my mind a very small gamble to make if you are capable of doing your own service on your own watch. I don't have them in hand so if anything goes wrong I'll update the post.

That guys videos are outstanding. I've watched a bunch now and he showed the 9415 that threw off my budget. I'll have him on loop when I sit down to do my service.

$200 sounds pretty good if you've got a few watches to do though. I'm not sure how much these little ebay bottles will service

There is a long thread about lubricants on this forum.  The consensus was: ignore the expiration date as it is probably meaningless.  That was my interpretation of the thread.

I agree, and do. IMHO that expiration date is a ploy to get you to buy more. if that oil doesn't have "hair" growing on it like a moldy science project left in the fridge too long, them I'm using it.

I'll have to check that old post out. I just learned how to get the search box to work properly on here so I've got a sporting chance now. I thought it was really strange moebius hadnt been mentioned before in this sub-forum
