An Old Swiss Watch

Recommended Posts

Many thanks but I've seen that and also in 17Jewels. However, the actual maker is not mentioned. Was it ETA but just unmarked? Was the a maker called FHF?

Another question, sorry, the gold case has fixed bars to hold a strap. I seen such on old watches, folder over with two retaining clasps also folded over. What are they called - as you can see I'm very new to this 🙂

Yes:

Fabrique d'Horlogerie de Fontainemelon (FHF) was set up in 1793 to supply the Swiss watch industry with ébauches (bare movements) to reduce reliance on the supply of ébauches from France.
