Movement identification

Hi i need some help to identify this movement, it has the fhf/font symbol but no number it is 10 1/2''' i am trying to find a new stem for it but appear to be going round in circles. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

you need to find yourself a copy of the bestfit book as it would help you to identify your movement.

Thanks for your help i did identify it in the bestfit books but when i went onto ranfft the back is different so was unsure if that made a difference to the stem.

do you mean like the back layout of the plates are a little bit different? As long as the wheels are in the right place in the watch more or less looks right it should probably be the same thing. Often times the movements get modified a little bit. Like you might have finger bridges over each the wheels or some other times it might be a much bigger bridge

oh the other thing to do is it suggested there were equal to other watches go a look up the other watches see what they look like

then here's a listing of stems compatible with yours. I don't suppose even have a partial love your original stem because if you did we could measure the dimensions and see if they compare to this stem

The FHF Font 1146 obviously was produced with different bridge designs. I found this

Ordered a stem for a fhf 1146 it has arrived and the watch is running perfectly.
