Please help me with a stem removal and identification of a old Timex Indiglo watch.

Recommended Posts

Hi lads. Last week I went to the thrift store with my father and bought a Timex watch for 4€. I replaced the battery with a new one and now it ticks but the Indiglo sadly seems to be water damaged. I wanted to remove the stem to look at the watch face with magnifying glass but I can't figure out how to remove it. I'd gladly appreciate any help with removing the stem and identification of the watch model.

Cheers!

I can't remeber exactly but it could be about pressing a tab by the edge, try pulling stem in and out to see it.

identification of the watch model.

Just what's on the caseback. In this class of watches the makers change details as the fashion dictates, keeping the same movie.t and case, but not much remains documented.
