Hello!

Does anybody have the service manual of eta 2824? Not 2824-1 or 2824-2, but the first 2824. I know they all are almost identical.

I am interested in taking the barrel, mainspring and arbor from a 2824 and putting them in a 2804-2. Does anybody know if they will fit?

Yes, it did.

It turned out that the problem wasn't the barrel but the sliding pinion and winding pinion were faulty (when you tried to wind the watch it slipped).

I changed them for the ones in 2840 (they fit).
