Not sure I put this post in the right forum category.

I have seen a few craigslist posts from this person selling military/ship style clocks. I may need to go visit his shop.

Here is one he currently has posted. I am in no way affiliated with this person but I am wondering if these style clocks are worth collecting?

Usually the genuine ships clocks come from de commisioned boats,  they use good quality movements like some smiths and elliots,  seth thomas is American and uses the count wheel and levers for the strike( see David La Bounty on these movements).      Attached is the lever assembly

As watchweasol has said. This is a poor quality movement, not what I would expect with a ships clock. Certainly not military standard more like from a privately owned boat. I have never seen this type of ships clock over here in the UK.

Thank-you for the responses and they were exactly what I was looking for.

This is the most refined looking one he has at the moment (pictures are not all that great).
