Is it new and how much difference is there in size? Also does it have all the screws fitted.

A very common "Automatic" mechanical watch movement; they have a weight that swings around while the watch is being worn, and keeps it wound from your arm movements as long as you wear it enough. Other than than that, just wind it normally before using it, if you only wear it on rare occasions. You can get automatic watch wider stands that keep them permanently wound, if you prefer; example on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Automatic-Watch-Winder-Box-Single/dp/B0B5Z7CX24/ref=asc_df_B0B5Z7CX24 This is the same or similar to your watch: -
New balance arrived, but unfortunately it was a different size. The hairspring was pretty close to the original but the watch runs +15 mins per day fast! I may have to try and repair the original after all.

There must be a reason why that got bent , if dropped it could have caused other damage & it’s never good to try & straighten anything still in the movement although it’s probably not hardened. Dell

I can tell by your question that you are having doubts and that you feel disassembling it first is a safer method. Good thinking! 😉
