Please help identify this Hamilton.

Hello all. I recently bought this Hamilton watch because I like its soberness. I believe it is from the late sixties. However, I have some doubt about the originality of the dial, as it has no model identification. The movement is manual. Any info on this watch will be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Did Hamilton ever use the term "Rubis"? I've never seen that. The applied logo doesn't look quite right either. The dial has surely been repainted as you can see the paint on the sides of the markers. My guess is this is not a Hamilton watch. At best, it is a Franken.

The logo and the term rubis would indicate that the watch was made after Hamilton moved to Switzerland when they purchased Buren (1969). Hamilton, Omega and Tissot were SSIH in the 1970's and became part of The Swatch Group in 1984. To really know what you have you would need to open the back and show us the movement. Nothing in their current collection is a simple 3-hand watch. They all either have a date or day or other complication. The dial does look sketchy in as much as the applied markers don't align with the printed markers.
