Bent Pendulum rods

My IBM master clock has a pendulum rod that is about 1150mm which I think would make it a 1 second pendulum has a slight bend at the end of it.

The wight is a hefty 5.7Kg and it looks like at some point the pendulum was removed and lent against a wall with the weight still on it and the actual weight has caused the rod to bend just above it.

I has straightened it the best I can but know I will never get it completely straight again.

I think the weight when put back on the pendulum would correct the bend slightly, but it won't be perfect.

I was just wondering what impact it would have if the rod is out of straight by a few millimeters.

Obviously this could impact setting the beat if the weight is to the left or right slightly, but once the clock is in beat will it still create other issues?
