Hello all,

I have half a dozen or so manuals for Timex case parts, but none of them cover the particular one I'm looking for.  Would anyone happen to be able to look up a stem and crown part number for a 1257 2467?

Much thanks in advance if you can help!  Have a great day.

Hi Larry I take it its  24 according to the number   401/1 (crown with stem).  attached is the manual and the decode information       cheers

Thanks Watchweasol!   It is a 24 movement, from 1967, but 401/1 is just the generic part indicator.  I'm actually looking for the actual Timex part number for the stem/crown that goes with that particular case and movement combination.  It's going to be a 7 or 9 digit number I believe.  I have old part listings up through 1966, and those are numbers like 2260038, and I have newer lists from mid-70's up that are numbers like 024-060108.  I just don't have any that cover this particular one (1967).   I've got quite a few of the original parts, but trying to see which is the correct one for this watch.  Trial and error may get me there, but I'm a stickler for making sure I have the right one 🙂

Thanks for the quick response though!

Hey JerseyMo!  Thanks for replying.  You know, I found that on some reference material I had, envelope 14, I think it was referring to a Supplemental refill system .  Was that all they used to identify them, or would there have been an actual part number similar to the ones in the Case Parts manuals?  I have one of the guides from the early 80's, and several from the 60's and older, but they don't cover 1967 (of course).

there are part numbers used for the distribution centers. these would be the large books Timex would send to parts suppliers or their service centers.  A few version of the books that span a given range of years and they are not cumulative.  Only good if you have the actual warehouse envelopes.
