WW1 IWC Trench watch

I thought I'd like to share with you the first watch that I bought which kickstarted my obsession. 

It's an IWC Borgel cased officer's trench watch dated 1916 with a Cal 64 movement. 

The dial has faint lettering for an Edinburgh retailer and I haven't been able to decipher the initials on the back.

A nice classic style   I Like it.

A princess that one is. I love the watchmaking period between the wars. Just notice the click spring. It deliberately bends at it's thickest point to prevent breaking. True swiss artistry.
