Folks,

working on a Waltham Swiss 25 Jewel Superthin Automatic and after removing the Dial screw, it seems the the movement rim is still under the case and the only way I getting the movement out is from the top?? I have looked at the top and there is a fine groove on the bezel rim but way to fine to be removed???? Need help.

The fine crack seems to disappear at the hole for the stem so I don't think it can be split there.

I would try removing the crystal with a claw and see what that leads to

Some Timex are kind of like this.  The back can be removed but the dial is large enough that the dial/movement has to come out through the front after removing the crystal.

I'll give it a shot and let you know.  Hope it works.
