3d printed crystal press

I made this yesterday.  I know they're reasonably cheap to buy but I thought it would be a fun project.  I works quite well.

Nice. I'd be concerned with it breaking, though. PLA can probably stand the compressive force, but the tensile strain on the uprights and the sheer force on the threads might be weak areas. Let us know how it holds up.

Hi   Nice one and full marks for the job, but I share eccentric's concern over the force question only time will tell but well done

Of course, if it breaks I can print a new part for about 50p, maybe I'll try PETG next.  The beauty of this is that I can design and print any die size/shape I need.
