Hi all

I am working on tissot 2030 (see my introduction)  it had been fitted with Chinese ag12 alkaline 1.5v the original mercury 1.36v is no longer available.  I suspect a 1.62v silver oxide would last longer . Is there voltage regulation within electronic module to say 1.0v or will slightly higher battery voltage affect accuracy

Should work fine with a  good quality  silver oxide 386 battery . I use them in my 2030 movements without any problem. Stay away from chinese or inexpensive batteries . They tend to leak when they are empty .
