Hi!

I am a newbie in watch repair. Recently bought a zim 2602 watch, it produces strange noise, and stops. The volume of the noise depends on the position of the watch, tends to stop rather in face up position. My guess was that the hairspring touches something, but I wasn't able to prove that visually. I attach a file about the sound it makes and a pictures. Thank you any help.

I do believe  this part  can be had new..the movement  is generally  referred  to as the pobeda. Do some searching  the balance  is available  with the hairspring assembled  on to it.its a bit tricky but doable.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have images of the balance pivots. What my eyes only see suspicious is the hairspring side looks a bit tilted. The think something on the other side is just dirt.

Try dipping  the assembly  in naptha. Unfortunately  my eyeball  is out of calibration.  Lighter  fluid or carburetor  cleaner  would also  work.be very careful  around that hairspring. Mangling it will be easier  than anything  you'll ever  do  again. Whatever  you  do don't spray  it..
