I recently visited Cheshire for a short break. One of the villages I visited was Nantwich where I found a museum (FREE) which had many working vintage clocks see why below + some of the long case clocks (all working) I recommend.

Unusual movement in that William Massey. Not keen on the poor detail of the painted dial. Late painted dials were poorly painted and so full.

Beginners question here... why do they have more than one key hole on the dials? Is one for setting the minutes and one the hours? Or one the time and another the complication?
