Rotary movement identification & winding fault

Hopefully someone can help me? Any ideas what movement this is? Looks like some Chinese one? 

When winding this watch there is quite a lot of tension past about half way wound and the winding pinion slips against the sliding pinion with a loud click - otherwise works very nicely and keeps very good time.
