To make my watch shiny I simply do the shower with them :)

A follow-up question off-topic, but since you mentioned it in the quote above, and since I have been curious, do you have any concerns about soap damaging the gaskets in your watches?  Should there be any concerns about gasket damage from soap?  I ask because I do not know myself, and I have periodically seen conflicting claims on this.

Although I've always believe that soap will do away with the lubricant on the gaskets and therefore allow them to get brittle sooner, I don't really have any proof...It would be interesting to hear from other members! I always recommend not to take showers with the watch on, soap and warm/hot water are bad for seals (grease or otherwise). IMHO.
