By 'minute post' I assume you mean the Centre Tube (part no. 161) ?

I just had to replace a 2892 mainplate as it had been damaged near the centre - as you can see in the pics.

So I have the old one available. The centre tube doesn't look too bad. You can have it if you want, though you can get a new one from Cousins for about £6

Thanks but I do mean the minute wheel post , if you have a spare mainplate I'll be happy to take it off you [emoji6]

I need to take the post from the plate that the minute wheel sits on . These are actually push fit

Left of the third pic of yours

Sorry I misunderstood.

I never noticed they were push fit, I thought they were machined in to the plate. They're small !

I didn't have staking set punch small enough, and the smallest pusher in my jewelling tool was too big at 0.63 mm - the lines in the pic are 0.5 mm.

As I'm not worried about damaging the mainplate, I rammed it out !

If you want it,  message me your details and I'll post it.

Mike
