Centre wheel shaft 17J/15J

Bit of a newbie question, 

Given that in general the difference between 15J and 17J is the centre wheel bearing, would it be safe to say that the centre wheel may not necessarily be interchangeable where a movement is from the same family but the jewelling is different? 15J/17J.  In particular I'm currently looking for a centre wheel for a Bulova 10AE 17J and want to know if I can use one from a 15J movement.

Thanks Rogart, a very useful link for future reference, I'm not sure it answers this particular question as there's no mention of jewelling.

There are 2 parts listed though:

201/FONT 324-44 - obviously refers to the FHF 324 Ebauche it's based on, anyone know what the 44 is? 

THIN PIV/FF 114 - This I'm not sure about, could THIN PIV mean thin pivot?
