Hello all I'm a newbie and look forward to posting here.

I have just dismantled an omega 1164 (eta 7750) balance to replace the staff. I've come accross a nivatronic collet holding the hairspring in place.

Can this be refitted or can I get a replacement part. The hairspring has a ltiny lip protruding from the innermost coil and the collect has 4 arms, presumably 1 of the arms clamps down on the lip to attach the hairspring to the balance wheel.

Thanks for any advice

I'm just not getting how to reattach the hairspring without it rubbing on the balance wheel. Should have taken a closer look at the positioning before removing the nivatronic collet but the balance was that dirty it was difficult to see anything.
