Truing tool; what to chose?

Hi all,

Again got my hands on a Pierce 103 movement, this time a no-shock proof version and probably as a consequence a broken balance pivot.

Well, been there done that a couple times now, so I got me a new balance staff and think I got it riveted in ok.

And sure enough it runs but with a heavy wobble and weird timing.

I think I got the staff in correctly so it "must" be the balance arms that got bent.

Started looking for truing tools and could do with a bit of advice there. From what I see there are two basic varieties; the "double sided" looking like an 8 and the single sided with a wooden handle.

Are all these tools designed to allow you to straighten the wheel "on site" without breaking the pivots or breaking the rivet as I guess some force is needed to reshape the arms?

Many of the tools I find (but far from all) seem to have a small moveable "feeler" to more easily track and correct the wobble.

Very grateful for any advice on what type of tool to look for to not make this task harder than it needs to be.
