I am working on an AS 1900. In one of Mark's videos he uses a platex tool to remove the friction pinion from the third wheel. It looks very easy to do with the platex tool. I can't find a platex tool anywhere and I need to remove the pinion. What should be another acceptable method to remove the friction pinion?

Thanks for the reply. I will send a picture when I can.

the part I am referring to is at about the 11:00 minute mark in Mark's video.

Thanks.
