Photography is another interest of mine in particular vintage cameras, this afternoon I was cleaning up a newly acquired old camera when I saw some fluff inside the lens.

Not wanting to strip the camera down but also not wanting a giant piece of tumbleweed appearing in all my photo's   :o

I set the shutter to 'B' setting holding it open and passed some rodico through the aperture removing the said fluff and cleaning the lens perfectly !.  :pic:

Nice Brownie Reflex. Looks like new old stock to me. What year is it from? It doesn't look like the one shown in the leaflet below.

I own a Brownie Starflash year 1957. Thanks for the idea, I'll use the Rodico to clean the lens inside.

I have one in my collection Steven, it's a Twin Lens Reflex that takes the old 127 paper backed film and was made for about ten years from 1941.

I knew good stuff were made in 1957...that's the year I was born! :)

Just a photography admirer but left footed with a camera!  :)

Cheers,

Bob

PS. New dimensions to watchmaking and the power of Rodico combined...stronger the The Force! May the Rodico be with all of us!

Hi Steven, it's a synchro model with flash connectors made between 1952-60, the number stamped inside suggests it was made in 1957, whereas the model in your brochure is a Kodak reflex,  great cameras !  :)
