Golden automatic LIP

This watch is no part of my collection, but a friend of mine sent me these pictures to check whether this is a valuable time piece. I think so, and you? This is an automatic LIP (R153A caliber).

No, he got it as a family heritage.

Got a better view of the back and realised this one doesn't have any numbers.

The badly fitting strap must have been a common thing.

Lovely piece. 

 Its a detached manual wind, standard grade movement which powered several brands of watches back in the days.

 One might get a brand new  Seiko 5, for what this watch fetches on the bay. 

I would not sell this beauty.

Without any hallmarks it could be debatable if this is gold or just gold plated?
