Hi everybody

I dropped unfortunately my omega seamaster from the sixties.

Now the second hand jump evidently and it stops after one hour or so.

I send you my time graphs responsed50efde506f25be2940306fcf8aaa746.jpg

Any suggestion where the cause is?

Bad luck :( .Probably snapped something? A pivot on escape or balance wheel . Check in which position it works best. Sorry but  guess is the only option is to service the watch and exchange what is broken.

Any marks on the outside? If not you could be lucky. It's fixable. It's harder to replace a case or a dial that has been smashed. If you got some insurance? Could you take it there? Like home insurance?

i bought a seiko diver cheap because it was dropped. when i got it, the second hand would tick nicely and then it would advance four or five seconds.....then tick nicely for a minute or two. then it would advance again.

i took it apart and found that it had a broken pivot - but i can't remember which one it was.

anyway, it sounded familiar.

danizzz - you're probably gonna have to scrap that seamaster. send it along. i'll take care of it. :D
