What does "transi-tronic" mean.

Hello everybody, I came across this quartz watch and I've been trying to find any information about this movememt but there's nothing on the internet apart from a couple of ebay listings.

What does transi tronic mean? Is it a good movement? Can I fix this thing if I buy it? Or does it have some known failure point that can not be fixed?

It's their own movement which is a combination of quartz/electronic and mechanical.

As with all things, it depends what's wrong with it, if it can be fixed or not.

It could be as simple as the wrong size battery fitted so not making contact where it needs too.
