Hi there,
My name's Greg and I live in Herefordshire (UK). My main interest is mechanical watches from the 60s to the 90s. I buy at local auction houses and sell some on the bay. The better ones I keep, sometimes for a few months, sometimes for ever.
This is a picture of a Cadola that I'm trying to sort out now. The winder slips when I am trying to advance the time. It winds the watch fine. I suspect that I may have great trouble sourcing spares for this one.

This is a ST96 caliber, other manufacturers made this caliber, think all might have merged or one bought others.

Inexpensive movement,  you better off just buying a donor movement, purchasing  parts individually is not a good idea.

Check the minute train, can be a broken gear teeth, loose pin posts, loose minute bridge, missing dial washer....  etc.

In case you didn't spot the fault, show a vid of the minute train as you try to set the time.

Welcome and enjoy the forum, Pal.
