Hi all,

I am new to the site and new to watch repairs etc.

So please be patient.

I have came across an issue with my Police watch strap.

So I own a Police outlaw watch Model 11807J and have had for many years. I love it.

I don't wish not to be able to wear it as I have used it for many years.

Unfortunately the leather strap has snapped at the point the strap connects to the the watch.

The strap is of a specific shape (closest is square spines).

My query is how does the pin come out, is it a threaded variety, so do I require a special sized driver? Or is it spring loaded. I have never come across such a specific (or difficult strap).

Would I be able to get new pins?

I would be grateful if you could advise or apply your experience to this problem.

I am thinking of swapping from a leather strap to a metal bracelet is this possible on this watch?

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

In anticipation - Dave

Welcome to the forum.

As you say, these are special straps.

If you're lucky you may be able to find one on eBay but expect
you'll have to modify a Standard Leather to suit the notches.
