Old dead ecozilla, risk about solar panel

I was offered an ecozilla that doesn't move even leaving it in the sun for a long time 
The first three numbers of the 6-digit serial number are 820 I can't figure out if it was produced in 1998 or 2008. 
If it were from 1998 (almost 30 years) in addition to the accumulator i would not like to have problems with the solar panel. 
I had read that even the solar panels of the eco-drive are not infinite but over time it is possible to have to replace them, is it possible?

Depending on the movement you should be able to replace the solar panel if you can get it or a donor movement.

What is the movement?
