Fossil JR 8090 analog issues

I have a Fossil big tic JR 8090 just replaced batteries and analog hands move and digital display functions as it should.  However the analog minutes hand becomes seriously delayed in the quadrants between 0-30 minutes and on right hand side seems to work and be accurate btwn 30-60 minutes

Hi, pictures would always give a more helpful response. Assuming that as a 'big tick' there is no second hand, so it may be possible the minute hand is not seated correctly and making contact with the inside side of the crystal for the first half hour.

As already mentioned. The minute hand is either loose a or catching the crystal , you will  have to remove the movement to check and tightened if loose

So the shop placed it on a machine where it spins the hands to "jumpstart" a watch that has been sitting.  It kept time for 6 hours and is back in to being delayed.

Sometimes they need more than a single "jumpstart" but it may also benefit from a little lubrication.
