Question about the Best fit catalog and parts interchange

Hi,

I am looking for a new balance complete for my Wittnauer 10S and consulting the Bestfit catalog I can see it's a 615.

 

There are quite a few other 651s listed for both other Wittnauer and also the AS1200 (which I believe is the base calibre for it anyway). Does this mean that I could use ANY AS1200 balance complete as a substitute or does it mean that I can only use a Bestfit manufactured 615?

That's the way I read it. Also, looking in the Jules Borel database for 10S Balance Complete - all these movements are listed as using the same balance

sorry late, the Bestfit book has an interchangeable section but I don't have it with me to see, then there is the issue with or without a shock system ....
