Hi everyone, sully here hope someone can help , ive always changed my own watch batteries, with a big family of 5 who all have a good  collection each it can prove expensive. Normally I'm OK ,even worked out how to take out crowns and winders. Problems my daughters michael kors watch mk4617 back off no problem, can't work out how to remove plastic!. I can get winders out ,thinking plastic might turn, but it just turns whole mechanism and plastic seems to big to pull out has anyone came across this before, please can anyone help, thanks sully

Never done one of these. However the 2 slots opposite the stem look like clips that are grabbing the movement. I would gently probe around there to see if you can release.

The plastic case ring probably has a couple of bosses on the movement side to hold it firmly in the case, but you should still be able to lift it straight out. Get yourself a pair of latex (or vinyl if you're allergic) gloves so you don't leave fingerprints on the movement. Hold the movement down and gently pull up on the case ring with a stout pair of tweezers something like what's shown in the following video.
